Steps of the Peer Review Process:

  1. Initial Submission Check: Upon submission, the editorial team conducts an initial check to ensure that the manuscript adheres to the journal's focus, scope, and formatting guidelines. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria are returned to the authors for revision before proceeding to the next stage.
  2. Assignment to Reviewers: If the manuscript passes the initial check, the Editor-in-Chief assigns it to two or more expert reviewers in the field relevant to the manuscript's subject matter. The reviewers are selected based on their expertise and their ability to provide a fair and thorough evaluation.
  3. Review Process: Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on several criteria, including originality, methodological rigor, theoretical contribution, clarity of presentation, and relevance to the field of Islamic business, finance, and economics. The reviewers provide detailed comments and recommendations for the manuscript, suggesting one of the following outcomes:

   - Accept as is

   - Accept with minor revisions

   - Revise and resubmit for further review

   - Reject

  1. Review Feedback: The Editor-in-Chief consolidates the feedback from the reviewers and communicates the decision to the authors. If revisions are required, authors are given the opportunity to address the reviewers' comments and resubmit the revised manuscript.
  2. Final Decision: Once the revised manuscript is submitted, the Editor-in-Chief, often in consultation with the reviewers, makes the final decision on whether to accept or reject the manuscript for publication. In some cases, a further round of review may be necessary if substantial revisions were requested.
  3. Publication: Accepted manuscripts undergo final copyediting, proofreading, and formatting before being published in the journal.

The Single-Blind Review process used by Al-Tasyree: Jurnal Bisnis, Keuangan dan Ekonomi Syariah ensures a fair and unbiased evaluation of manuscripts, while maintaining the confidentiality of reviewers to encourage honest and constructive feedback.
